What is a desktop study?
A solar desktop study is a preliminary assessment conducted before a solar PV system is installed. It involves gathering information about a site, such as roof measurements, shading analysis, and electrical system details, to determine the feasibility of a solar installation.
About the trainer:
Martin Heath has a deep understanding of renewable technology, and has worked on projects as diverse as community-owned wind farms, major solar PV developments and de-carbonising the UK's heating, electrical and transport systems. He is passionate about Community Energy. He is a founder member of Basingstoke Energy Services Co-operative, which until recently, was the UK’s only worker-owned solar PV co-operative.
